Weekends are allll about balance for me. After working really hard all week, I thoroughly enjoy getting together with friends and enjoying a cocktail or two on a Friday night. Who doesn't? What I definitely don't enjoy is the headache and hangover one is usually greeted with the next morning after enjoying said cocktails. I learned not too long ago that the hangover symptoms are mostly a result of a battle between the alcohol and the sugar found in traditional cocktails. The answer? Cold-pressed, low sugar cocktails with Lemon Love! There are endless ways to use Suja Lemon Love to recreate your favorite adult beverage, but here are 4 of my favorites:
Blueberry Lemonade
- 1 1/2oz Blueberry flavored Vodka
- 2 oz Suja Lemon Love
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- Slice of lemon
Cold-Pressed Daiquiri (makes 2)
- 1 bottle Suja Lemon Love
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup rum
Cucumber Mint Cooler
- 2 oz gin
- 1/2 cup cucumber cut into chunks, plus a few thinly sliced for garnish
- 4 mint leaves plus more for garnish
- 2oz Suja Lemon Love
- Chilled Club soda
- Ice
Suja-Rita
- 6oz Suja Lemon Love
- 1 1/2 oz tequila
- 1 1/2 oz cointrau
- 1oz Suja Fuel
- splash of lime juice (optional)
Directions: Pour over ice and enjoy!
