Last week Suja set sail on the Lady Hornblower in Marina Del Rey with media outlets to celebrate our new juices. Some of our guests included Bustle, Forbes, Cosmopolitan and E! among several others. Our yacht excursion was fully “decked” (pun intended) out with Suja cocktails and a plant based dinner menu.
Chef Matthew Kenny, restaurant owner of Plant Food + Wine in Venice, CA created a delicious 3 course dinner featuring some of the new releases as ingredients.
The dinner started off with a refreshing Gazpacho soup featuring some of Suja's Celery Juice. The soup was complemented with an avocado, heirloom tomato & olive tart and seasoned with some celery salt.
The main course consisted of Summer squashes featuring the Suja Focus shot. This dish was paired with a matcha macadamia mousse and a pistachio pesto.
For dessert, chef Kenny featured the Suja Immunity Rebound shot in a black plum and sisho shrub paired with elderberries, coconut yogurt, and blackberry tuille.
Suja’s very own in house chef and Chief Innovation Officer, Bryan Riblett, walked the media through the ingredients, benefits, and inspiration behind of our new Celery juice, Focus shot, and Immunity Rebound shot, the stars of the evening. Riblett is the mastermind behind all of Suja's recipes and innovations.
All of our guests were able to take home some nautical inspired gift bags to end their day at sea and be the first to receive shipment of Suja’s new releases.
Ready to get your hands on these new flavors? Stay tuned as these products will be hitting shelves near you in September!
